2006 Aboriginal Projects
In March 2006 the following projects were funded:
Aboriginal Catholic Ministry of Western Sydney to attend the NATSIC Conference & visit Uluru in September & October 2006.
Aboriginal Catholic Ministry Murri Ministry, Queensland - Refurbishing the "Funeral Pantry".
Getting the Kids off the Street program in Murray Bridge, SA
Wendy's Story - Preserving Aboriginal cultural history for future Yankunytjatjara / Ngarrindjeri generations, SA
Pastoral support for Aboriginal families in Wyndham, WA
In August 2006 the following projects were funded:
Creation of an important presentation of the History of Aboriginal Australians in Kimberley, WA
Aboriginal Catholic Youth Ministry Perth WA to attend NATSIC Conference in Alice Springs, October 2006.
Support for St Joseph's Family Care Centre to provide educational and recreational resources to children of homeless families, SA
Arabunna Going Home project with Arabunna Nulla Kari-Ku Wanga Association, SA
Feasibility study to set up a sister-school relationship between schools in Werribee, Victoria and Warnum, Western Australia.
