The Foundation fundraising dinner took place on the 19th June at the picturesque Watersedge at Walsh Bay, Sydney. The ever charismatic Master Of Ceremonies Michael Kava led the 180 guests through the evening proceedings. We were privileged to have two highly successful women as guest speakers, Clare Martin CEO of ACOSS and SBS Sports Journalist, Mariana Rudan, who launched the Foundation’s new look website. The guests also heard from two recipients of Foundation scholarships, Dana Slape and Amala Groom, studying medicine and law respectively, who made very moving speeches and thanked the foundation for the opportunity they’d been given. The evening was a great success with a substantial amount raised to continue the important works of the foundation.
