All proceeds from Green & Gold Day will support 'small life-changing projects' that help those in need to achieve self-reliance and overcome destitution, isolation, and the effects of misfortune.
In the same way that Australia's first saint, Mary MacKillop, responded to the needs of her time, the Mary MacKillop Foundation responds to the needs of our time to relieve suffering and give hope by giving grants to Aussies that have set up life-changing projects to help others.

You can be an Ambassador for Green & Gold Day by getting your school, workplace or community group to register and get involved on the day.
Ambassadors play a vital role in spreading the message of Green & Gold Day to keep the Aussie helping spirit alive. By being an Ambassador you can help the Foundation meet its goal of supporting 'small life-changing projects' to continue the legacy of Australia's first saint.
As part of your role as an ambassador and in appreciation of your time, the Foundation will be providing you a Green & Gold t-shirt and Cap to wear on the day, or give out as a prize.
