Applying for Funding
Assessment
In order to be considered for funding an organization must return a completed, endorsed Application Form and return it to the Foundation's office before the specified closing date for processing.
Each Organisation’s application for General Projects is assessed at State/Province/ Branch sub-committee meetings where the applications are rated against the named criteria. These ratings are collated and presented to the General Projects Review and Evaluation Committee at the Board of Directors' meeting each September. This committee considers the applications and awards the grants.
Applications for Aboriginal Partnership projects are assessed against the named criteria by the Aboriginal Projects Review and Evaluation Committee of the Board of Directors.
This committee includes a person who has experience of working in partnership with Aboriginal Communities and has a link with the Josephite Aboriginal Planning Committee. This committee considers the applications and awards the grants.
In each case, an Evaluation Form is completed by the successful organisation at the end of the grant period and returned to the Foundation to ensure that the aims of the project are achieved. This evaluation brings to conclusion the role of the Organisation as an agent of the Foundation.
